Monochrome Ikea kitchen

A great tip when you're designing a kitchen is to think about the contrasts in the space, ranging from materials to colors. Usually, a good starting point is a monochromatic color scheme that helps to lift the decor. 

Ikea, with their Metod kitchen line, presented a combination of mint masonry shutters and dark lower cabinets that, as a whole, look fabulous.
