A fairytale destination brought to you by my darling Sinziana of Project Fairytale.. I'm quite speechless, this place is mesmerizing.
Hello darlings! I am very happy and honored that Denisa gave me the opportunity to post on Daily Dream Décor. I love DDD and, more often than not, I fell in a sort of daydream about the beautiful interiors showcased here. But enough about my undying love for her and all her projects, let’s get to the subject of this guest post.
I was in Nairobi, Kenya earlier this year and, besides work and all of that (it was a business trip after all), I had the pleasure of visiting the Giraffe Center just outside the city. I fell in love with the beautiful and gracious animals, got to feed them and took a ton of photos.
When I was planning my trip, one of the ideas that crossed my mind was to stay at the Giraffe Manor, a luxury hotel inside the Center. The Rothschild giraffes often visit hotel guests in the morning and evening, poking their long necks into the windows in the hope of a treat, before retreating to their forest sanctuary. But, as all my meetings were in the city center and traffic in Nairobi can be a real hell, I chose a more suitable hotel closer to the central area.

But the Manor is truly stunning, a real life fairytale destination with large rooms, canopy beds, gorgeous terrace and the possibility of having the giraffes join you for breakfast. ^_^. It is located in a hilly neighborhood, full of gorgeous villas with lavish gardens and is modelled on a Scottish hunting lodge and consists of two buildings - one built in the 1930s, with tall windows and every inch covered in creepers and the other constructed recently but equally charming and old-fashioned. The property has 10 rooms, all named after the giraffes in the sanctuary, how cute is that?
