Because this week I crossed a bit on the dark side, today I want to share 3 simple ways to use black in your living room. Without making the room looking like a bat cave I may add. As much as I love white minimal interiors, like I said earlier this week there's a certain timeless elegance to black furniture and of course, dark interiors.
A first idea is to paint your black, but if you can't be that "drastic", it's ok to have only one dark wall or storage unit/ library like in the case below. Contrasting accents on the other walls compliment the space. For a more mysterious vibe, use a sofa in a darker shade. As you can see, mauve looks exquisite.
Black corner sofa looks amazing and it's quite practical too. Add a black coffee table for an extra touch. Also, if you happen to have fireplace in your living room, paint it black!
Dark floors, if not quite black , against black appliances and furniture, with little decor accents across the room. Mix black with gold, make the whole space pop!
