This beautiful renovated studio is the most beautiful space I've seen in a while. Maybe because of the great mix between the old vibe of the building and the modern touches brought by Ignacio García de Vinuesa to this Madrid interior. Also, the wood flooring throughout the space is amazing, even in the kitchen area. Most people would've chosen vinyl amtico flooring.
Tips on restoring a studio.
- Keep the essence. and take advantage of all the existent ornamental richness. Heights and moldings were respected, and the magnificent doors, which were relocated under the new distribution.
- Serene elegance! Go for an uniform color palette, sand tones, stone and decorative elements smoke blend in with the woodwork and walls.
- Give more warmth to the space. Besides coloring melis pine floors, use other resources, such as pile carpets, fabric-covered walls in the bedrooms and indirect lighting.
